New transformation & change comms roles

New insights

  • “The employee engagement crisis is fake news,” says Mike Klein in a guest post in the always interesting and helpful Mister Editorial newsletter. This one is pretty spicy 🌶️ and worth a read…can’t wait to read part 2!

  • FGS Global recently surveyed 25 comms leaders in Central Europe and says, “the effectiveness and attractiveness of communication formats vary from company to company and change within an organization over time.” Sigh…I gotta believe 25 comms pros had more to say than that…which hopefully will be revealed at their webinar on May 28.

    • Also 🌶️ : FGS uses the term “shitstorms” on its web page about this survey. There’s not enough profanity in marketing communications…I like FGS leading on this.

  • Internal comms juggernauts Poppulo and Brilliant Ink have teamed up to present a webinar on May 30 about harnessing the power of analytics to spotlight internal comms impact. Should be a good one!

  • Speaking of metrics, Axios HQ recently held a good discussion on the topic with my former McKinsey colleague Joel Willcher, who talks about measuring things like employee emotion weekly on top of a traditional annual engagement survey.
