New transformation & change comms roles

New insights

  • The Institute of Internal Communication in the UK released their IC Index 2024 survey and report today. This year’s report focuses on trust and I really like the points on transformation/change, particularly the emphasis on manager comms (always top of my list when it comes to getting transformation comms right).

  • Should internal comms be renamed “workforce comms”? That’s the subject of this post and article by Mark Hannant, the IoIC and others. It’s an interesting thought and since I first read this the name is growing on me. Check it out!

  • Internal Comms expert Rachel Miller published an excellent article on how to make conferences accessible and inclusive for speakers. A lot of points resonated, especially about mics, captioning and bar stools.
